1. About this website
Mandap · Ethnic Wear is a clothing business based in Sabzibagh, Patna, India. This website introduces Mandap’s ethnic-wear collections and helps customers explore styles. Product availability and final prices must be confirmed with the store. Adding an item to the bag or wishlist does not reserve stock or create an order.
2. Product descriptions, fabric and alterations
Please read the complete product description before placing an order, including fabric, lining, colour, fit, measurements, embroidery, included items and care instructions. We aim to provide the item shown and described; slight colour differences can occur because of screen settings and lighting. If anything is unclear, ask Mandap before ordering. Alteration services are available at the physical store only; alterations cannot be requested or booked through the website.
3. Prices, offers and taxes
Displayed catalogue prices are indicative and must be confirmed with Mandap before purchase. For actual purchases, the confirmed price, applicable taxes, delivery charges and any other compulsory charges will be communicated before the order is accepted. Offers, if any, are subject to their stated terms and availability. We will not treat a preview-cart action as an order.
4. Orders and payment
Orders will be accepted only through a sales channel that Mandap officially confirms. An enquiry or message does not guarantee stock or a reservation. Once online ordering is introduced, available payment methods, order confirmation, cancellation process and any applicable fees will be displayed before purchase. Never share an OTP, PIN or full payment-card details in a message.
5. Shipping and delivery
Review the delivery address, serviceable PIN code, shipping charge, tracking information and estimated delivery timeline carefully before placing an order. Delivery timelines are estimates, not guaranteed dates. During high-volume periods—including Holi, Eid, wedding season and other festivals—courier or order volumes may occasionally cause delays. We will share available tracking or updates where possible. Any delivery delay does not remove consumer rights that apply under law.
6. Returns, exchanges, store credit and refunds
Mandap does not offer returns for change of mind, preference or fit for either in-store or online purchases. Eligible products may be exchanged within 7 calendar days after delivery, subject to stock availability and inspection of the item. Customers must select a replacement product of equal or higher value. If the replacement costs more, the customer pays the difference. A lower-value replacement is permitted only when the difference from the original item value is ₹500 or less; that exact difference is issued as Mandap digital store credit, valid for 365 days from issue. Example: a ₹5,000 item may be exchanged for a product priced at ₹4,500 or more; if the replacement is ₹4,500, the customer receives ₹500 in digital store credit. If the difference exceeds ₹500, the customer must choose a higher-priced replacement so the difference is no more than ₹500. Store credit is non-cash, non-transferable, redeemable only with Mandap, and its value, issue date and expiry date must be recorded. Exchange requests should include the order details and be submitted within the 7-day window. The item may be required to be unused, unwashed, unaltered, with original tags and packaging, except where the law provides otherwise; these condition requirements should be shown to customers before purchase. This policy does not limit legal remedies for defective, incorrect, spurious or materially misdescribed goods, or other rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Contact Mandap promptly with order details and evidence so the issue can be reviewed.
7. Customer responsibilities
Customers should provide accurate contact and delivery details, review product descriptions and sizes before ordering, and keep their order confirmation and payment proof. Please contact Mandap promptly if an address or order detail needs correction. Alterations are an in-store service only and must be discussed with staff at the physical shop.
8. Website use and intellectual property
Please do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt its operation, copy content for commercial use without permission or submit unlawful, abusive or misleading material. Website text, branding, logo, design and original images belong to their respective owners and may not be reused commercially without permission. Product names or third-party marks, where used, remain the property of their owners.
9. Privacy and feedback
Some preferences, such as theme, language, cart and wishlist, may be stored locally on your device. If you use the feedback form, the message may be sent to Mandap's feedback service. Do not include passwords, OTPs, payment details or other sensitive information in feedback. A separate Privacy Policy explains website data handling; it should be reviewed before live ordering or additional customer-data collection is enabled.
10. Support and complaints
For product enquiries, order issues or complaints, contact Mandap through contact details officially published by the store and include relevant order information. Before online sales launch, Mandap must publish and maintain its appropriate business and grievance contact details. Complaints will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
11. Liability and legal rights
We work to keep website information available and accurate, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. This does not limit any liability or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Nothing here is intended to override mandatory protections under Indian law.
12. Updates and applicable law
These terms may be updated as the website and store services develop. The version published at the time of use should be reviewed. These terms are intended to be read with applicable laws of India and the rights and remedies available to consumers under those laws.
Before launch: These are general starter terms, not legal advice. Mandap should confirm its return window, shipping/COD policy, payment methods, grievance contact and business disclosures, and obtain a legal review before accepting online orders.
